The Gulmit Central Graveyard is also a project of the GESWS, establishment in 2015 by generating fund from the local community of Gulmit. Due to not having a proper place as central graveyard in the main town and people were using their own pieces of land for this specific purpose. Keeping in view the emerging issues of the community the GESWS purchase 1 hector piece of land at Chamangul Gulmit and specified for the graveyard project.
